Resumo: O Trabalho foi realizado no Centro Socioeducacional Nossa Senhora
Aparecida – CESENSA – no município de Montes Claros -MG, que abriga 80
menores em conflito com a lei, originários de várias regiões de Minas Gerais.
A união dos esforços entre a Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e o
CESENSA contribuiu para promover a reintegração social, melhorando a
auto-estima e dando oportunidade aos menores de terem uma formação básica em
criação de abelhas Jataí. Durante quatro meses, 20 menores foram beneficiados
com o curso. Aprenderam considerável melhoria no trabalho em grupo e amenizaram
o comportamento ofensivo.

THE MELIPONICULTURE AS STRATEGY TO RECLAIM YOUNG INFRACTORS IN THE
SOCIOEDUCACIONAL CENTER NOSSA SENHORA APARECIDA IN MONTES CLAROS – MG
Abstract: The Work was carried through in the CESENSA in the Montes Claros - MG
city, that shelters 80 young offenders, originary of some regions of Minas
Gerais. The union of the efforts between the Federal University of Minas Gerais
and the CESENSA contributes to promote the reintegration social, to improve
self-esteem and to give chance of the adolescents to have a basic formation on
the stingless beekeeping. During the four months 20 youths had been benefited
with the course, and in accordance with the technician psico-pedagogical, the
adolescents these had improved the pertaining to school income, had learned to
value the work in group and had brightened up the offensive behavior.
