Resumo: O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes níveis de suplementação sobre a busca de sombra por caprinos F1 Boer x SRD terminados em pastagem nativa. Os animais foram avaliados por oito horas/dia, em três momentos; para efeito de épocas os 28 animais foram avaliados em junho, julho e agosto. O delineamento utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, com quatro tratamentos e sete repetições, avaliados em três momentos. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de Qui-Quadrado ao nível de 5% de significância. Não houve diferença entre os tratamentos, mais em termos absolutos a freqüência de busca por sombra pelos animais foi de 71,43, 85,71, 94,44 e 94,44% para os tratamentos 0,0, 0,5, 1,0 e 1,5% de suplementação, respectivamente. Observa-se que não houve efeito da época em relação à freqüência de busca por sombra pelos animais. Os níveis de suplementação e as épocas não influenciam na procura por sombra de caprinos F1 Boer x SRD terminados em pastagem nativa.

Effect of the supplementation in the for shadow of goats Boer F1 x SRD maintened in native pasture

abstract: The objective of the work was to evaluate the effect of different supplementation levels on the shadow search for goats Boer F1 x SRD finished in native pasture. The animals were appraised for eight hours/day, in three moments; for effect of times the 28 animals were appraised in June, July and August. The used was completely randomized design, with four treatments and seven repetitions, appraised in three moments. The data were submitted the analysis of Qui-square at the level of 5% of significance. There was not difference among the treatments, more in absolute terms the search frequency for shadow for the animals was of 71,43, 85,71, 94,44 and 94,44% for the treatments 0,0, 0,5, 1,0 and 1,5% of supplementation, respectively. It is observed that there was not effect of the time in relation to the search frequency for shadow for the animals. The supplementation levels and the times don't influence in the search for shadow of goats Boer F1 x SRD finished in native pasture.
