Resumo: Neste trabalho estão registradas as primeiras impressões advindas das avaliações dos questionários distribuídos para os alunos, professores e técnicos administrativos ligados ao curso de Zootecnia da UFT, que foram aplicados no período de dezembro/2008 a fevereiro/2009, objetivando identificar a percepção que estes segmentos possuem acerca do curso ao qual pertencem. Atualmente, o curso conta com 320 alunos, 21 professores e 17 servidores. No ano de 2006 o curso de Zootecnia criou a Comissão de Avaliação do Curso (CAZO) com o objetivo de diagnosticar potencialidades e fraquezas do mesmo de forma a orientar as ações pedagógicas e administrativas do referido curso. De forma geral, as respostas aos questionários dos segmentos avaliados coincidem quanto ao quesito infraestrutura, demonstrando que apesar das melhoras realizadas nos últimos anos ainda há muito por ser feito, principalmente nos laboratórios básicos e na biblioteca. Alunos e técnicos desconhecem o Programa Político Pedagógico (PPC); diferentemente, todos os professores que responderam o questionário conhecem o PPC atual e aquele que será implantado em 2010. Quanto ao item relações interpessoais, as respostas de forma geral foram positivas. Divulgar o PPC com os segmentos estudantil e técnico é uma medida urgente para buscar soluções conjuntas visando a melhor qualidade do curso.

Evaluate of animal science course of Tocantins federal university: a proposal for this procedure

abstract: In this work are recorded the first impressions derived from evaluations of the questionnaires distributed to students, teachers and administrative technical linked to the Animal Science course of the Tocantins Federal University (UFT), which were applied in the period of December/2008 to febrary/2009. This aimed to identify what perception these segments have about the course. Currently the course has 320 students, 21 teachers and 17 technical administration. In 2006 the course created the Animal Science Commission Evaluate (ASCE) in order to diagnostic the strengths and weaknesses in order to guide the actions of the administrative and educational progress. In general, the responses to the questionnaires of the segments evaluated shown the same concern about the infrastructure, showing that despite improvements made in recent years there is still much to be done, especially in the laboratories and library. Students and technicians do not know the Educational Policy Program (EPP), otherwise, all the teachers who answered the questionnaire know the current EPP and that will be adopt in 2010. Regarding interpersonal relationships, in general the responses were positive. The EPP has to be dialog with the student and technical segments, it is urgent to find solutions to the quality of the course.
