Resumo: Este trabalho teve como objetivo mostrar a importância das aulas práticas de campo na contribuição da qualidade de ensino-aprendizagem na área de avicultura, promovendo a interação do conteúdo teórico ao prático na formação do profissional. Decorrente disso, as aulas práticas em campo tanto em empresas particulares produtoras de aves/ovos, como na Estação Experimental de Pequenos Animais em Carpina, Pernambuco, e no próprio setor de avicultura da UFRPE são fundamentais, pois coloca o futuro profissional em contato com a teoria aplicada à pratica. Com essas práticas de campo os alunos podem aprender associando-as à teoria vista na sala de aula, podendo inclusive, comparar tipos diferentes de aves, manejo e instalações encontradas nos diferentes locais de aula visitados. A expectativa é que após as aulas práticas o aluno possa relacionar melhor o conteúdo teórico ao prático, facilitando dessa forma o aprendizado na disciplina e o entendimento de forma geral do conteúdo. Desta forma, melhorando-se o ensino, reflete diretamente no aprendizado e indiretamente também aumentam as chances de inserção do aluno e futuro profissional no mercado de trabalho tão representativo e com demanda por profissionais com sólidos conhecimentos da área em todo País.

Importance of the practical classes in field in the area of production of birds

Abstract: This work had as objective, to show the importance of the practical classes of field in the contribution of the teaching-learning quality in the aviculture area, promoting the interaction of the theoretical content to the practical in the professional's formation. Due to that, the practical classes in so much field in private companies producing of birds/eggs as in the Experimental Station of Small Animals in Carpina, Pernambuco and in the own section of aviculture of UFRPE they are fundamental, because it places the professional future in contact with the applied theory to he/she practices her. With those field practices the students can o learn associating them the theory, view in the class room, being able to besides, to compare types different from birds, handling and facilities found at the different class places visited. The expectation is that after the practical classes the student can relate the theoretical content better to the practical, facilitating the learning in that way in the discipline and the understanding in general way of the content. And this way, improving the teaching, he/she contemplates directly in the learning, indirectly also they increase the chances of the student's insert and professional future in such representative job market and with demand for professionals with solids knowledge of the area in every Country.
