Resumo: Este trabalho teve por objetivo incentivar a adoção da escrituração zootécnica da bovinocultura leiteira da região. O projeto foi desenvolvido em propriedades na região de Rondonópolis – MT, em três etapas. Sendo a primeira para identificar os produtores, a segunda para avaliar o rebanho e o sistema de produção, e a terceira para implantação do projeto de escrituração zootécnica. As informações obtidas foram registradas em planilhas e fichas durante a execução do projeto que possibilitou mensurar o peso médio dos animais, cujo peso das fêmeas em lactação foi de 450 kg de peso corporal, com produção média de 7,5 kg de leite/vaca/dia no período seco do ano, já nas águas 13 kg. Estes índices não correspondem aos índices encontrados na literatura para produção de leite em respectivos períodos. Os produtores foram beneficiados com as informações e orientações fornecidas pela equipe técnica, considerando que a escrituração zootécnica permite a possibilidade de avaliar dos dados gerados para a tomada de decisões mais eficazes quanto à gestão da pecuária leiteira nas propriedades assistidas.

Abstract: This work had for objective to stimulate the adoption of the records of animal production of the dairy cow of the region. The project was developed in farms in the region of Rondonópolis-MT, in three stages. Being the first one to identify the producers, second to evaluate the flock and the system of production, and third for implantation of the project of records of animal production. The gotten information had been registered in spread sheets and fiches during the execution of the project that it made possible to measure the average weight of the animals, whose weight of the females in lactation was of 450 kg of corporal weight, with 7,5 kg milk/cow/day average production in the dry period of the year, already in 13 waters kg. These indices do not correspond to the indices found in literature for milk production in respective periods. The producers had been benefited with the information and guiding supplied for the team technique, considering that with the records of animal production allowing the possibility to evaluate of the generated data the taking of more efficient decisions how much to the management of the cattle milkmaid in the attended properties.
