Resumo: O presente trabalho teve por objetivo os efeitos de três níveis de nitrogênio (150, 300 e 450 kg/ha/ano) e cinco idades de corte (28, 35, 42, 56 e 84 dias) sobre a produção de matéria seca do capim elefante, cultivar Cameroon. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, parcelas subdivididas, com quatro repetições. Houve significância (P < 0,05) para os efeitos de idade de corte e níveis de nitrogênio.

Effect of the nitrogen and of the court age in the production of dry matter of the elephant grass

abstract: The present work aimed to evaluate the effect of three nitrogen levels (150, 300 and 450 kg.ha ano) and five cutting ages (28, 35, 42, 56 and 84 days) upon the dry mistter production of dry matter of the elephant grass, to cultivate Cameroon. The experimental design was in blocks randomized, with the treatments obtained in the outline of subdivided portions and 4 repetitions. The analysis variance showed a significant (P < 0,05) for the effects of court age and levels of nitrogen.
