Resumo: Utilizou-se 12 caprinos F1 Boer x SRD com 120 dias de idade e peso de 15,52 Kg de (PV) sendo distribuídos em quatro níveis de suplementação (0, 0,5, 1 e 1,5% do PV em matéria seca).O manejo alimentar consistiu de pastejo das 8:00 ás 16:00 hs, quando eram recolhidos ás baias para suplementação em gaiolas individuais equipadas com cochos e bebedouros.O suplemento foi ajustado para permitir ganho de 200 g diárias aos animais suplementados com 1,5%. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado com quatro tratamentos e três repetições. A ingestão de MS foi influenciada (P<0,05) pelos níveis de suplementação, com aumento de 257,15 g de MS por dia, 0,65% do peso vivo. Houve efeito quadrático sobre a conversão alimentar, com a melhor CA (5,02) sendo estimada quando o nível de suplementação foi de 0,53% do PV

Consumption of matter dries for goats F1 Boer x SRD finished in native pastures with different levels of supplementation1

abstract: Twenty-four goats F1 (Boer x SRD) were used, they were 120 days old and an initial live body weight of 15,52 kg. The animals were submitted to four feeding supplementation levels (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5% live weight in dry matter). The feeding management consisted of grazing from 8:00 h to 16:00 h, when the animals were collected to the stalls for supplementation in individual cages equipped with hods and drinking fountain.The supplement was adjusted to allow earning of 200 g daily rates to the animals supplemented with 1,5%. The used experimental completely randomized design entirely with four treatments and three repetitions. The ingestion of MS was influenced (P<0,05) for the supplementation levels, with increase of 257,15g of MS a day, 0,65% of the alive weight There was quadratic effect on the alimentary conversion, with best CA (5,02) being dear when the supplementation levels was of 0,53% of PV.
