Resumo: Este trabalho teve como objetivo correlacionar os parâmetros testiculares, o estado de condição corporal e a temperatura corporal com a morfologia espermática de caprinos criados no Nordeste do Brasil. Foram mensurados os parâmetros testiculares (circunferência escrotal - CE, espessura da pele da bolsa escrotal - EPBE, grau de bipartição da bolsa escrotal - GBBE), o estado de condição corporal (ECC) e a temperatura corporal (TC) em 66 caprinos. Também foi coletado sêmen e em seguida foram realizados esfregaços para determinação da morfologia espermática. A correlação foi calculada pelo método de Pearson usando o procedimento PROC CCOR do SAS@ versão 8.0. Os parâmetros analisados correlacionaram-se de forma significativa positiva (p<0,05) com a EPBE e TC, porém significativa negativa (p<0,05) com o GBBE, já para a circunferência escrotal não se observou muita associação com o parâmetro analisado. No tocante ao ECC foram observadas correlações positivas e também negativas significativas com as alterações espermáticas de caprinos. Concluiu-se que o GBBE, TC, ECC e a EPBE devem ser levados em consideração na escolha de um reprodutor caprino.

Correlation between biometrics parameters testicular with the spermatic morphology of goat created in the northeast of brazil (resulted preliminary)

Abstract: The any of this work was to correlate the testicular parameters, the state of corporal condition and the body temperature with the spermatic morphology of male goat reared in Northeast of Brazil. The testicular parameters (scrotal circunference, thickness of the skin of the scrotal sack, degree of bipartition of the scrotal sack), body condition and the body temperature in 66 goat ones were measured. Semen was also collected and after smear preparation smears for determination of the spermatic morphology the correlation was calculated by the method of Pearson and using procedure PROC CCOR of the SAS @ version 8.0. The parameters analyzed had shown significant positive correlation (p<0, 05) with the EPBE and TC, however significance negative (p<0, 05) with the GBBE, but for the scrotal circunference much association with the parameter analyzed was not observed. In relation to the ECC, positive and also negative correlations with the spermatic alterations male goat were observed. It is concluded that the GBBE, TC, ECC and the EPBE must be taken in consideration in the choice of a male goat for reproduction.
