Resumo: O trabalho foi realizado através de visitas e entrevistas in loco a 53 suinocultores de Pernambuco situados em 09 municípios das regiões Metropolitana, Zona da Mata e Agreste, cujo objetivo foi identificar os principais problemas vivenciados pela classe através de uma avaliação do perfil de produtor e sua realidade sócio–econômica, também, buscou–se demonstrar a importância da atividade como fonte de trabalho e renda, fonte de transformação de alimentos vegetais em proteínas de alto valor biológico, além de envolver a comunidade acadêmica das universidades envolvidas, produtores, governos, indústria e comércio na solução dos problemas enfrentados pela cadeia produtiva da carne suína. Os produtores foram avaliados a partir de um questionário previamente elaborado de forma a dinamizar o trabalho e facilitar a análise dos dados obtidos. A partir da avaliação foi observado que em Pernambuco os suinocultores encontram-se distribuídos tanto nos núcleos urbanos como nos núcleos rurais, quanto aos seus problemas, grande parte possuem criações apenas para subsistência familiar e exercem a atividade ilegal, sem cadastro, sem o mínimo de conhecimento, criando os animais em locais impróprios, sem nenhuma infra-estrutura, sem assistência técnica, sem subsídios criando apenas com limitados recursos próprios. Portanto, cabe aos órgãos competentes promoverem programas que assistam aos suinocultores, oferecendo-lhes melhores condições para o exercício da atividade.

Evaluation of the Profile and the Reality Partner - economic of the swine's creator in the State of Pernambuco

abstract: The work was carried through visits and interviews in loco at the 53 of swine’s creator of Pernambuco in 09 cities of the regions Metropolitan, Zone of Mata and Wasteland, whose objective was to identify to the main problems lived deeply for the classroom through an evaluation of the producer profile and its partner-economic reality, also, one searched to demonstrate the importance of the activity as source of work and income, source of vegetal food transformation in proteins of high biological value, besides involving the academic community of the involved universities, producers, governments, industry and commerce in the solution of the problems faced for the productive chain of the swine meat. The producers had been evaluated from a questionnaire previously elaborated of form to dynamic the work and to facilitate the analysis of the gotten data. From the evaluation it was observed that in Pernambuco the creators of swine’s meet distributed in such a way in the urban nuclei as in the agricultural nuclei, how much to its problems, great part possess creations only for familiar subsistence and exerts the illegal activity, without I register in cadastre, without the minimum of knowledge, creating the animals in improper places, without no infrastructure, without assistance technique, without subsidies creating only with limited proper resources. Therefore, it fits to the competent agencies to promote programs that attend the creator of swine’s, offering better conditions to them for the exercise of the activity.
